1. Article Marketing
If you're new to affiliating, one of the easiest ways to get started is to write articles and submit them to EzineArticles. You can write a lot of simple, short articles and place links at the bottom of the article.
You are not allowed to place affiliate links in your articles at EzineArticles but you can place links to your own landing pages. For example, you could post a link to your review of Kill No Limit and then place your affiliate link on that page.
Some of the best articles are focused on Kill No Limit reviews, testimonials for how it worked for you and specific keywords relating to beating poker, poker training, poker strategy, small stakes strategy, etc. You can keep the articles short and simple or make them in-depth for even more popularity.
Top list articles usually perform well online. Articles like "No Limit Holdem - 10 tips for winning" are always popular with poker players. People don't like to read big blocks of text online so top lists usually work out very nicely. At the end of the article, you can add a little teaser that tells people to check out your review at www.YourLinkHere.com.

If you have a website, I strongly recommend that you collect your visitor's e-mail addresses by placing an opt-in box on your website. Offer them something free for signing up, even if it's a simple article listing the 10 biggest mistakes of new poker players.
You can start collecting e-mail addresses by visiting Aweber.com and creating an account there. Aweber is the best resource for setting up a newsletter and managing your mailing list. It's easy to get started thanks to their step-by-step instructions.
You don't want to bombard your subscribers with offers to "buy! buy! buy!" all the time but the occasional, well-written and thoughtful e-mail will be well-received by your subscribers.
Think of newsletters as a give and receive relationship. You "give" your subscribers something they will find useful and in return you "receive" something by placing an affiliate link and a little blurb about Kill No Limit at the bottom of the e-mail.
3. Use Calls to Action
You won't get the order if you never ask for it. Don't be afraid to tell your readers that you highly recommend they download this e-book today. Not every call to action has to be a command to "buy" but you'll have the best results if you get your visitors to visit the Kill No Limit sales page with the thought in mind.
You can use the words "click here" if you want but it's better to anchor the link with specific words relating to the product.
You don't always have to wait until the end of the page to place a call to action. It's no good to be overly pushy but if you're going for the sale, you can place a call to action early in the page as well as near the bottom of the page.

You can experiment with both "hard" calls to action and "soft" calls to action. Hard calls to action are generally pushier and can possibly make your visitors resent that. Soft calls to action are seen as "nicer" but they usually result in fewer conversions.
4. Banners vs. Text Links
Banners have worked in online advertising for years but many people swear by in-content text links. These are links like the ones above that use words instead of pictures to link to the Kill No Limit website.
They tend to work the best when they appear naturally within whatever content you have on the page. When you get people to click on text links, they are often more likely to buy.

Issues Unique to Promoting Poker Products
1. PPC Ads
Google Adwords
Google used to completely ban all poker related PPC ads. Recently, Google lifted the ban and certain people can use PPC to promote poker material.
You can now target PPC ads to users within Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). There is an awesome blog post describing the situation in great detail here.
I am in the process of getting a complete solution to the PPC question, so check back soon for more information about PPC and poker related keywords.
AdBrite
While searching through my web logs, I've noticed about 100 visitors who were referred through AdBrite. The AdBrite policy towards online gambling is as follows:
Promotion of gambling or online betting that is targeted to the US.
Keep in mind, however, that people are sending me traffic via AdBrite. If you promote my poker e-book, you are promoting a strategy book, not online gambling itself. It's a fine line of distinction but so far it appears that AdBrite is friendly towards ads pointing to KillNoLimit.com.
2. Finding a Niche
If you want to create a poker site to promote the e-book, you'll want to start out by targeting a poker niche. There's more to promoting poker products than targeting the keyword "Poker" and hoping for the best.
If you want to target a big keyword like that, you'll have to do a lot of article writing and provide your visitors with a vast amount of resources. For example, you can see that I targeted the term "No Limit Strategy" with BeatNoLimit.com to get the Number 1 Google ranking for that term.
If you target a more niche poker-related keyword, you'll be able to achieve high rankings without nearly as much work. Here are a few niche ideas/keywords to help you get started and do your own brainstorming:

People have developed successful websites dedicated to the World Series of Poker, Famous Poker Pros, Poker Site Reviews, Omaha Poker and much, much more.When picking your niche, think about the type of visitors you need to earn the most sales. If you target the keyword "free online poker" you might get a lot of visitors but how many sales would that get you? You want to target people who have the means and will to buy something now.

Integrity Matters!
I probably don't even need to say this but I ask all my affiliates to use integrity and honesty in their promotional efforts. There's nothing wrong with being an ambitious marketer but I don't want to see spamming or illegal activities from any of my affiliates.
Anyone caught using unethical or illegal activities will be banned from the Kill No Limit affiliate program. On top of that, you could open yourself up to civil and/or criminal legal troubles.
Remember, honesty leads to greater profits in the long run. If you want to build a successful business and make a lot of money, a reputation for honesty and integrity is absolutely vital.
